This two day course has been developed by Chester Zoo and RECORD (Local Environmental Records Centre) - specialists to introduce you to using free QGIS software in the context of conservation work.
Designed for complete beginners to using GIS software and will include hands on practice with the software and a chance to test out your skills with data collected in the field.

Cost: £250 for non-members, or £200 for BIAZA, ABWAK, Charities and registered students.

Please note: You will need to have basic IT skills linked to opening, downloading, saving and locating files to attend this course. This course includes significant computer usage, and therefore you will need to have a laptop with QGIS pre-installed.
QGIS is free to download and you will be sent instructions on how to do this ahead of the session.
