Book 5th-27th April zoo tickets

We're so excited to welcome all our guests over the Easter period to celebrate the opening of the Heart of Africa!

So everyone can enjoy their visit, we're asking all guests to pre-book their entry tickets in advance as there will be no on the day sales from our ticket windows. This is a fantastic offer as it can save you up to 20% by booking in advance.

If you're planning to visit the zoo between Saturday 5 April and Sunday 27 April, you must pre-book your entry ticket in advance from one of the below arrival slots, between 10:00am and 12:00pm, or 12:00pm and 17:00pm.

We've extended our opening times so you'll have plenty of time to explore the zoo!

  • Pre-booked online advance ticket sales will be required for zoo entry from 5 of April until the 27 April 2025 for standard entry tickets and Chester Zoo Members.
  • No on the day standard tickets sales will be available for purchase on site between 5 of April until the 27 April 2025.
  • Standard online admission tickets are required to prebook admission with arrival between 10:00am and 12:00pm or 12:00pm and 17:00pm. 
  • All online advance ticket sales are subject to availability
  • Advance tickets are valid for entry to the Zoo only on the date that is specifically chosen.

Each person taking part in an Experience must complete a Risk Acknowledgement and Disclaimer form to confirm their booking which will be included in your email confirmation.
