Conservation Tots: Tiny Tots

Calling mums, dads, grannies, grandads, families and little tot minders! Bring your little tot to the zoo to play games, explore and have messy fun! 

Join us for our tailored sessions designed to encourage the development of your child and encourage the bond between you and little one. Our Tiny Tots classes are most appropriate for tots aged under 1 year. The sessions are designed to help babies build their relationship with nature and develop physical, social, expression and communication skills.

Our Conservation Tots sessions do not include hands-on contact with any of the animals in the zoo.

A few terms and conditions:

  • Once the booking has been made, it cannot be rescheduled and is non-refundable.
  • We will keep a record of your details to contact you in the case of an emergency.
  • This activity is for children under 1 years old. Please contact us if you have children in different age groups.
  • The number of spaces available are limited to 15 children. Please make sure you book for each child that will be attending.
  • We can accommodate up to 2 adults per booking.
  • While attending the sessions, children must be supervised by their responsible adult.
  • The session will be run by a Conservation Education member of staff, who is DBS checked.
  • Places are booked on a first come, first served basis. Please do not assume their place is booked until you have received a booking confirmation.
  • Booking does not include zoo entrance.
  • When attending Conservation Tots at Bembe Coffee Shop you do not need to go through the pay barriers.
  • Your child may get messy as Messy Play activities are often included.
  • Chester Zoo reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the zoo should they behave in an inappropriate or unsafe manner.
  • Chester Zoo reserves the right to alter or cancel the session if absolutely necessary. If this happens we will give as much notice as possible, however this cannot always be guaranteed.
  • All activities will be taking place within zoo grounds (inc the nature reserve).
  • Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality, and health and safety, this cannot always be achieved. Please contact Chester Zoo for advice before purchasing.
